Good afternoon from Miners Alley Playhouse, aka my home office or the floor of my bedroom, as the rest of my family has overtaken the desks and desk-like surfaces in our house! Leslie Rutherford here, Development and Marketing Director for MAP in beautiful Golden, Colorado. I wanted to make you aware of an action we are taking to plan for the reopening of Miners Alley Playhouse after COVID-19.
Over the past several weeks, the staff at Miners Alley has been having discussions in anticipation of what a reopening of our beloved theatre will look like. We do know that when we come back we want to open with Moon Over Buffalo. We are going to make a determination about Miners Alley Children’s Theatre camps in the next two weeks. And, we are going to continue to bring you great digital content, like our On Demand performances to the best of our abilities.
While we have plenty of ideas of how to entertain you, we are still waiting for guidance from the State of Colorado, Jefferson County and the City of Golden on how to go about opening the theatre. So, we want to hear from YOU, our donors, patrons, and parents of students! Watch for emails with survey links in the next few weeks and be sure to respond. We want to know what you think and want to see in a reopening of Miners Alley Playhouse.
Meanwhile, be safe, take care of yourself and we cannot wait to see you back at MAP when the time is right.
